Red Wing Heritage Unveils Its Hawthorne Abilene Classic Moc
A brighter twist for the boot brand’s classic silhouette.
Since 1905, Red Wing has been perfecting its craft at making functional and stylish stylish boots for both lifestyle and workwear purposes. And this spring season, the Minnesota-based imprint is revisiting its Heritage Classic Moc model to broaden its portfolio with a new Hawthorne Abilene colorway.
Its done up with handcrafted premium leather and durable stitching, all of which is dyed with a brighter beige hue that aligns with the turn of the seasons. One fun fact about this particular six-inch style is that Ryan Gosling was spotted rocking them in the movie The Fall Guy. Lace loops are done up with metallic silver finishes and find two-toned brown and bege shoe laces that intertwine across its throat. Brown leather lining pokes out from the top of the entry way and is stitched down along the interior. Down below, the bottom is constructed with Traction Tred outsoles that are designed to mold to your feet over time.
