Rising British pop-R&B artist Kamal. has just released his highly-anticipated mixtape “so here you are, drowning,” which sees the 20-year-old musician tread an uneasy emotional path.

The London-based creative has been in a steady musical orbit since childhood, constantly gravitating to essential instruments before discovering his vocal talent. Last year, Kamal. shared two ravishing singles before the arrival of his latest project, which both became hits in his expanding catalog.

Consisting of a 10-song tracklist, “so here you are, drowning” details Kamal.’s troubles through everyday life, including relationships with himself and others. Created over two years, the mixtape sees his heavenly vocals collide with mesmerizing beats and a storytelling outlook.

To accompany the album release, Kamal. also drops an independent single titled “White Wine.” The song delivers a sinister approach to romance, detailing the artist’s past bond with an ex-partner.

Stream “so here you are, drowning” via all platforms now, and watch the music video for “White Wine” above.

Elsewhere, emerging Southampton-based artist Saint Harison drops heartfelt single “TMF.”
