Irish designer Jonathan Anderson and his London-based label JW Anderson is pushing forward its 5-year collaboration alongside UNIQLO with the debut of a preppy Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Last season, the duo marked the anniversary by delivering cozy garments housed in a British modernist network.

For SS23, JW Anderson and UNIQLO step onto academic grounds and reimagine the staple U.K. uniform through a sportswear lens. The collection, titled “A Sporting Way of Life,” welcomes you into local sports teams with a helping hand, gifting you quintessential athleticwear for your first day on the field.

The range delivers a preppy wardrobe for daily wear and reanalyzes the classic uniform through cable-knit Cricket cardigans with V-shaped necklines and tinted linear accents. Fitted AirSense* Blazers are crafted for casual school outings, featuring embossed JW Anderson-branded details. Elsewhere, sport-ready sports bras, leggings, and pleated ensembles complete the womenswear offering. Finally, patterned shirting, straight-fit khaki trousers, and roomy utility shorts reach the finish line alongside striped polos, tees, and various accessories.

Take a closer looks at the JW Anderson x UNIQLO SS23 collection in the gallery above. The garments will be available in-store and online via UNIQLO on March 30.

Elsewhere, Heaven by Marc Jacobs to open first store in London.
