Acne Studios is a brand full of versatility. From its futuristic and forest-inspired runway shows to the clean-cut tailoring seen across its more street-focused designs featured in HEAT’s mystery boxes, Jonny Johansson’s Stockholm-based brand is never afraid of experimentation, and this has been encapsulated perfectly in the label’s new Bubba Sneakers.

When first meeting the eye, Acne Studio’s latest footwear silhouette shows slight similarities to Nike’s classic Air Max 95. And while the Swoosh has been delivering its famous 95 sneakers since 1995, Acne’s new Bubba remains firmly in its own lane with luxurious, floral-like detailing across two colorways of “Dark Purple/Black” and “Ecru/White.”

Additionally, Acne’s new lace-up sneaker features knitted detailing across the lateral sides and upper, while metal studs complete the shoe on the back. A chunky rubber sole provides additional support for those navigating the inner city and metal eyelets on the two-tone laces supply an added edge of punk.

You can take a closer look at the new Bubba sneaker from Acne Studios above and it is available to shop via the brand’s official website now.
