New Balance Year Over Year Sales Have Increased 115% in 2022

Sneakerheads from all over the world can tell recognize that New Balance has made some major moves in the footwear industry in the past few years. Thanks to its high-profile collaborations with the likes of JJJJound, Joe Freshgoods, Aimé Leon Dore on some of its most iconic models, New Balance stays ahead of the curve showing most improved results in sales in the past year.
According to GOAT’s aftermarket platform, the figures reported have indicated that the Boston-based brand has seen a soar in sales, precisely 115% year over year. Across the market, GOAT and Flight Club report that New Balance is currently the fifth-selling brand and comes in fourth as the most in-demand shoe brand. In 2022, New Balance 550 was the best-performing shoe, accounting for 36% of all New Balance sales during the calendar year.
While New Balance saw an exponential increase in sales growth, GOAT also reported that HOKA ONE ONE came out on top as the No. 1 market mover sneaker at 361% sales increase. Salomon comes in second with 236% and Crocs comes in third at 188%. Others on the list are Puma at 125% and Rick Owens at 75% in terms of the fastest-growing sneaker brands last year.
It remains to be seen what New Balance has planned for 2023 and how it will impact its sales growth.
