Building on its crispy, juicy chicken line, Impossible Foods has now spiced things up with three new products. The California-based brand is now introducing Impossible™ Spicy Chicken Nuggets, Impossible™ Spicy Chicken Patties, and Impossible™ Chicken Tenders, all made from plants.

The Spicy Chicken Nuggets and Patties are enhanced with a blend of custom spices for a spicy kick for heat-seeking palates. While the Chicken Tenders are seasoned with a blend of spices for a delicious savory addition to any diet. Despite being made by plants, all three products offer 10-12g protein per serving and no cholesterol, as well as up to 35 percent less total fat and up to 55 percent less saturated fat compared to animal counterparts.

Additionally, Impossible Foods products use 44 percent less water, 49 percent less land, and emit 36 percent less greenhouse gas emissions than animal counterparts for a smaller environmental footprint.

“Our chicken products caught on fast with consumers, and they’ve served as a successful entry-point to our brand,” said Sherene Jagla, Chief Demand Officer at Impossible Foods. “In retail, our original nuggets are leading the plant-based chicken category in dollar sales, and in food service, consumers prefer them to animal chicken nuggets. We’re excited to expand on the platform’s success, and we expect this category to continue to be valuable for our brand.”

Impossible™ Spicy Chicken Nuggets, Impossible™ Spicy Chicken Patties, and Impossible™ Chicken Tenders will be available at select retailers later this month with full national availability in the coming months. Head over to Impossible Foods’ website for a locator map to find a store or restaurant near you serving the plant-based offerings.
