Tom of Finland Comes Together With Carne Bollente for Second Intimate Capsule Collection
10% of sales will be donated to the Tom of Finland Foundation.
Sex-positive brand Carne Bollente is back with its second collaborative capsule with Tom of Finland.
Continuing the dialogue of sex, the collection features Carne Bollente’s iconic embroideries and prints, all while integrating some of Tom of Finland’s most standout silhouettes. The Paris-based brand unveils a selection of wardrobe staples including various t-shirts, hoodies, chore jackets and a knit vest top. Each of the pieces features co-branding that highlights both labels’ unique motifs.
Drawing on the satirical and humouristic part of Tom of Finland’s work, the pieces aim to educate the next generation on sex-positive conversations, all while focusing on the artist’s lesser-known persona. Through his art, Tom of Finland consistently fights for LGBTQI+ rights, affirming his own gay sexual identity. The jeans feature embroidered phallic graphics, reminiscent of the last collection’s rugs. On top of clothing, the collection also features a blanket and beach towel that prominently displays one of Tom of Finland’s most famous male portraits.
The second capsule collection arrives at the official Carne Bollente and Tom of Finland online stores on March 1. 10% of the sales go towards the Tom of Finland Foundation to continue the artist’s activism work.
