Vacheron Constantin has revealed a dazzling new watch in the Overseas Tourbillon High Jewellery. This timepiece marks a first for the renowned Overseas collection, blending technical prowess with luxurious aesthetics — with each watch featuring 85 baguette-cut diamonds.

At the heart of its design is the combination of white gold and the collection’s iconic blue dial, a pairing designed to express sophistication. The true star of the show, however, is the array of 85 baguette-cut diamonds, meticulously set on the bezel, hour-markers and pin buckle, adding a touch of glamour to the watch.

The Overseas Tourbillon High Jewellery watch is powered by the ultra-thin Manufacture Calibre 2160, a movement that enables the watch’s slim profile and also provides a mesmerizing visual of a tourbillon in motion.

With a 42.5 mm diameter, the watch presents a sporty yet chic profile, enhanced by its slim curvature, further augmented by the first white gold bracelet that seamlessly integrates into the case and features a secure folding clasp. Additionally, the watch comes with two interchangeable straps in blue calfskin and rubber, both complemented by a white gold pin buckle adorned with baguette-cut diamonds.

The introduction of baguette-cut diamonds is a first for the Overseas collection, a choice that highlights the watch’s structured silhouette and enhances the white gold’s radiance, particularly against the backdrop of the satin-brushed blue dial. Notably, the placement of 60 diamonds on the six-sided bezel, extending to the hour markers, creates a stunning contrast.

From a technical standpoint, the watch’s ultra-thin Calibre 2160, measuring just 5.65 mm in thickness, acts as a marvel of engineering, featuring a 22K gold peripheral rotor that contributes to the watch’s slender profile while maintaining an 80-hour power reserve. This design allows for an unobstructed view of the movement, showcasing the exquisite finishes, including the circular-grained mainplate, bridges adorned with Côtes de Genève and hand-beveled tourbillon bar.

At the time of writing, the price and availability for Vacheron Constantin’s Overseas Tourbillon High Jewellery has not yet been revealed, however, more information is expected to be shared via its official site soon.
