Doja Cat and Ice Spice are among the leading trendsetters in contemporary music. The “Paint the Town Red” singer has been touring her Scarlet LP around the world, while Spice fans are eagerly awaiting a debut album from the New York rapper.

Following the release of Instagram’s 2024 Trend Talk report, the two artists sat down for a special episode of the social media platform’s new podcast, Close Friends Only. On the show, they chat all things currently trending, particularly on social media, from memes to dating.

They also get a bit personal and discuss and react to some of social media’s biggest misconceptions of them, along with what sort of content the algorithm delivers on their feeds.

Close Friends Only is executive produced by Sun-ny Side Up and was created in collaboration with The Unwell Network. The podcast episode is available to stream now across Spotify, iHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts and YouTube.
