ECCO Teams Up With Italian Creative Studio RAL7000STUDIO For Limited-Edition Capsule Collection

Having recently tapped British artist PinkPantheress to front its latest womenswear range, ECCO now teams up with Milan-based creative studio RAL7000STUDIO for a limited-edition capsule alongside an accompanying campaign produced by Hypebeast.

Revered for its bold co-creations and eccentric silhouettes, RAL7000STUDIO brings its unique design language to the forefront of the collection. The partnership’s inaugural drop, the ECCO Street Ace RAL7000 sneaker, draws from a blend of inspirations including natural landscapes and city settings to achieve an elevated gorpcore look. Whilst spotlighting the pioneering technical materials synonymous with ECCO, the sneaker is crafted through a futuristic design lens.

The rugged silhouette is a reinterpretation of skate and hiking shoes that celebrates the heritage of both entities. Boasting unmatched comfort, its exaggerated volumes are accentuated through its chunky sole and thick padding. ECCO also opened the doors to its innovative leather labs where the Milanese studio went to source the collab’s materials. The velvety nubuck and soft leather upper add a premium feel to the overall sneaker whilst the muted beige and white tonal colorway provides versatility and sleek wearability.

Speaking of the collection, Marco Simonetti, co-founder of RAL7000STUDIO says, “This long-term collaboration promises to be a remarkable opportunity for both of us to explore uncharted territories as we embark on a journey to unveil groundbreaking projects through distinctive design, inventive research, and development, cutting-edge engineering solutions, and unique leather concepts by the ECCO leather division.”
