Limited Edt and SBTG Unveil "Urban Islander II" Collection

Singapore-based Limited Edt and Mark Ong, better known as Mr Sabotage (SBTG), have joined forces to release the second installment of Limited Edt’s “Urban Islander” collection. This time around, the capsule is crowned by a New Balance 580 and also includes apparel items and accessories from a range of collaborating brands.

The Urban Islander collection, first launched in 2020, celebrates the unique lifestyle of the inhabitants of Singapore, a place both creators call home. Limited Edt shares that it’s designed for those with a deep appreciation for style, music, art and subcultures — as it blends the vibrant energy of a tropical paradise with the sleek sophistication of urban life.

A stand-out item in the collection is the New Balance 580, which features a subtle and natural feeling colorway, covered in black and tan premium Hairy Suede at the exterior, with an exciting pineapple print at the insoles. Other notable materials used in the construction of the sleek shoe include premium Woven Fabric and subtle 3M accents.

The collection also features pineapple print chairs by Helinox, pineapple print menswear by OMBAK, an Urban Islander Woven Raffia tote bag, an Urband Islander themed New Era 5 Panel Camper cap and to cap it all off some Urban Islander themed socks. It’s also worth noting that the co-branded New Balance 580 comes in a special pineapple print box, further accentuating the exclusivity of the pair.

Prices for items in the collection range from $19 SGD to $249 SGD or roughly $14 USD to $185 USD. The Limited Edt x SBTG Urban Islander II collection is set to be released on December 15, via Limited Edt stores and online via Limited Edt’s official site and SBTG’s official site.
