BAPE Unveils Bored Ape Yacht Club Capsule
Including a pair of BAPE STAs, apparel and accessories.
Following a teaser from late September, BAPE has unveiled its collaborative collection with digital collectible brand and community Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC).
The collection first made its debut during BAYC’s ApeFest in Hong Kong, with early access in limited quantities provided to holders of BAYC or BAPETAVERSE digital collectibles. This collection is now making its public debut and features items like the classic BAPE STA, apparel and accessories.
Dubbed “A BORED APE,” the collection primarily utilizes the brand’s signature ABC CAMO but with the BAYC skull logo thrown into the mix. One of the most notable items includes a mostly white BAPE STA with camo accents and BAYC branding stamped at the heel. Additionally, the shoe, numbered and limited to 1,000 examples, features the BAYC character Curtis.
Other notable items include a black tee and coach jacket, which both feature print reading “A BORED APE” with a center graphic that is a blend of BAPE’s Ape Head logo and BAYC’s skull logo. Prices for items in the collection range from $77 to $232 USD and are expected to be released starting Saturday, December 16 via BAPE’s official site and select retail locations.
