The Jordan Brand is gearing up for the Lunar New Year festivities with a release of a special edition Air Jordan 38.
The Air Jordan 38 “Chinese New Year” comes in an eye-catching palette that consists of cedar, metallic gold, grain, light pumice, sail, oil green and dark team read. Constructed with a mix of materials including suede, mesh and textile, the shoe mirrors that of the artistry in Chinese culture. With the predominant hue in red, covering most of the upper, light green accents detail the laces and tongue lining while a metallic gold emblem adorns the tongue, encircling the Jumpman logo. The midsole is equipped with Zoom Strobel and Cushlon 3.0 for added cushioning while the X-Plate gives more responsiveness on the court. The shoe sits atop a semi-translucent outsole to round it all off.
