Zara and Studio Nicholson Center on Conscious Design for New Collaboration
Bringing womenswear into the mix this time around.
Last year in September, Zara and Studio Nicholson teamed up for the first time, offering timeless menswear layers for the FW22 season. Now the two brands have joined forces again, emphasizing conscious design.
When the two entities united last year, what came forward was a quintessentially minimal yet modern wardrobe – fusing both personalities in a way that emphasized timeless everyday pieces. London-based, Studio Nicholson, is particularly proficient in carefully crafted pieces that live throughout life’s moments. Therefore the latest collaboration is no different.
Timeless yet tasteful pieces take form in streamlined tailoring, languid outerwear, luscious knitwear, classic tops, relaxed pants and more. Although the pieces themselves are standard, what gives them all character are the structured and remixed silhouettes – adding updated elegance to a classic wardrobe. Additionally, for the first time, the collaboration features womenswear.
“The determination to push the boundaries with innovative cloths and natural materials has been the overarching philosophy for the entire collaboration – and that’s something I feel very proud of,” said Studio Nicholson’s founder/creative director, Nick Wakeman. “We’ve focused our efforts on sourcing high calibre fabrics with exemplary credentials. ‘Fabric first’ has been my motto ever since I started Studio Nicholson in 2010. For me, quality is paramount.”
