Netflix Reveals a Suspenseful Trailer for ‘Gyeongseong Creature’
The first part will premiere this December.
First teased during Netflix’s Geeked Week, the streaming platform has now unveiled the first official trailer for Gyeongseong Creature.
Featuring some of South Korea’s most popular names, the upcoming mystery-horror drama stars Park Seo-joon and Han So Hee in leading roles. While Park is a household name in his native country, he has been gradually gaining recognition internationally following his guest appearance in the 2016 Oscar-winning Parasite, numerous K-drama roles, as well as his Hollywood debut in The Marvels. Also featured as part of the main cast are Squid Game actor Wi Ha-joon, and Claudia Kim, who previously appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald
Set in 1945, Gyeongseong Creature tells the story surrounding the mysteries of the Ongseong Hospital. Situated in Gyeongseong, the former name of Seoul under colonial rule, the series follows entrepreneur, Jang Tae-sang (Park Seo-joon), and sleuth, Yoon Chae-ok (played by Han So Hee) on a quest for survival.
Watch the official trailer for Gyeongseong Creature above. The series will be released in two parts: the first half will premiere on December 22, while the remaining episodes will be available to stream starting January 5, 2024.
