Eminem To Perform During the 'Fortnite' Chapter 4 Finale

Update: After teasing an in-game performance earlier this week, Epic Games has confirmed that Eminem will take to the Fortnite stage during the title’s Chapter 4 finale event, “The Big Bang.”

The celebration, which begins on December 2 and 2 p.m. ET, will allow users to “watch Eminem… as Eminem,” according to the developer. Ahead of Eminem’s performance, players will be able to shop three new skins that were inspired by the rapper, dubbed “Rap Boy,” “Slim Shady” and “Marshall Never More.” The new skins will become available to shop in the Item Shop beginning November 29 at 7 p.m. ET.

Notably, players who attend “The Big Bang” will unlock a limited-edition loading screen and the Marshall Magma Style for the Marshall Never More outfit.

Epic Games officially announced that “The Big Bang” event will close out Fortnite’s current OG chapter and promised “memorable reveal toward the end.” Shortly after, Eminem took to X to share a teaser with both his and Fortnite’s logos as his “Tone Deaf” lyric “playing Fortnite with your grandma” plays in the background.

Reputable Fortnite leaker account HYPEX tweeted that “Big Bang” will be the game’s biggest event yet and will feature Eminem to some degree, although it was not specified. Fans believe that Em’s involvement could be somewhat similar to Travis Scott’s “Astronomical” event in 2020, which featured a virtual performance and limited-time player skins of the artist.
