Last month, H.E.R. headed to Saturday Night Live, joining the Foo Fighters for a performance of “The Glass.” The song appeared on the rock band’s 11th studio album, But Here We Are, which was released in June and marked their first project following the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins.

H.E.R. has now honored the band with her own cover of the track. For the solo version, the artist plays just an electric guitar over which she belts out the lyrics.

“I had a vision of you, and just like that /I was left to live without it, left to live without it,” she sings. “I found a version of love, and just like that / I was left to live without it, left to live without it.”

The single will be featured on an upcoming vinyl pressing of the Foo Fighters’ LP. Earlier this week, H.E.R. also shared a remix of Asake’s “Lonely at the Top.”
