Converse and Kasina Link Up To Revamp the Weapon OG

Korean retailer Kasina and Converse know how to amalgamate each of their ethos to curate a clean pair of sneakers. This time, the duo is reworking the iconic Converse Weapon model, drawing from Kasina’s “do it yourself” approach to conspire a limited-edition rework of the classic 1986 silhouette: the Converse x Kasina Weapon OG.

Complete with hand-drawn details on the silhouette, the design evokes the same energy – of free-thinking, creativity, and artful expression – that the streetwear label’s founder EunHyk Lee looked to when designing the label’s first retail location. The sneaker boasts a leather vintage white upper, with lively Kasina graphics printed throughout and an embossed Kasina logo resting on the heel’s Egret cupsole.

A bevy of colorways are available, with Star Chevron logos appearing in Carbon, Online Lime, and Stormy Weapon color schemes. Laces are also available in two colorways, Online Lime and Egret. Take a closer look at the Converse x Kasina Weapon OG in the gallery below.

The Converse x Kasina Weapon will be available to purchase tomorrow, November 16 at 10 a.m. EST on the Converse webstore and Kasina’s webstore. The joints retail for $140 USD.
