Casablanca Readies Tennis-Inspired Court Sneaker
With a white leather upper, a green-accented sole, silicon Casa Sport branding and more.
Casablanca has lifted the veil on its debut tennis-inspired shoe, dubbed the Court Sneaker, referencing the hallmark silhouettes of the ’80s and ’90s.
The shoe adopts a color story that melds the refined codes of tennis with those of the Paris-based fashion house: a tonal white leather upper is complemented by a court-inspired rubber sole finished with green accents, while a branded Casablanca diamond rubber patch decorates the heel. Meanwhile, silicon Casa Sport lettering resides on the lateral side, and gold lace tips match the shoe’s woven Court tongue label.
“The idea was to incorporate the sophisticated tennis white uniform with a pop of contrast colour detailing, creating an everyday sneaker drawing from the sport themes and iconic design cues that already flood the DNA of the brand,” said Casblanca’s art director Steve Grimes, who designed the sneaker alongside the brand’s founder and creative director, Charaf Tajer.
Casablanca’s The Court Sneaker is now available to shop on the brand’s webstore for €375 EUR. Sizes range from US 7.5 to US 14.5 for men and US 3.5 to US 7.5 for women. Take a closer look at the design in the gallery above.
