Look Inside GUESS USA's FW23 Installation at Voo Store
Sharing Nicolai Marciano’s latest expression of the imprint.
After sharing its evocative Fall/Winter 2023 campaign, GUESS USA has now returned to share an installation at Voo Store. Taking over the Berlin retailer, the special installation shares Nicolai Marciano‘s latest expression of GUESS USA marked by an evolution of Americana-style codes. The presentation also continues the striking aesthetic bolstered by the photography and visual language overseen by Eli Russell Linnetz.
“As if baked in the Californian sun, the rustic, vintage-style denim, and cracked leather integral to the first two chapters of the GUESS USA story are expanded upon. Still grounded in the GUESS extensive archive, this third collection places an increased focus on silhouette,” shares GUESS USA. The FW23 collection carries an experimental edge by playing with shapes and proportions. While flocked and leather-like cracked denim seen across flared wide-legged baggy jeans and other styles embellished detailing and perforated with lace panels develop an evocative edge.
“The third collection we’ve begun pushing the envelope when it comes to the silhouettes and the fit. We are in constant play between leather and denim,” stated Nicolai Marciano.
GUESS USA also offered its artisanal capabilities with its frayed denim overcoat, patchwork, lace-up jeans, and a denim vest littered with gold hardware, sewn, washed, and handcrafted in the brand’s Los Angeles headquarters. The GUESS USA atelier finished the range with faux fur elements, mini-skirts, corsets, suede down jackets, cropped trucker jackets, and worn-out western-inspired accessories. The FW23 collection is uniquely West Coast referencing the styling of rare finds discovered in artisanal, roadside boutiques of California.
