Over the weekend, Netflix dropped a new teaser video announcing that Castlevania: Nocturne is renewed for another season.

The animated sequel of Frederator Studios’ popular Castlevania series officially premiered on September 28. In just ten days after, the series is already greenlit for another season. The 25-second-long teaser features static illustrations, which appear to be incomplete animatics or storyboard frames from the forthcoming installment.

It’s likely that the renewed season will be led by showrunner, Kevin Kolde, with Clive Bradley continuing to serve as the creator/writer. Fans can expect the major voice cast to reprise their roles for the new season, with Edward Bluemel as Richter Belmont, Pixie Davies as Maria Renard, Thuso Mbedu as Annette, and James Callis as Alucard.

Watch the announcement tease above. At the time of writing, no further news regarding an approximate release timeframe was revealed. But according to Netflix, season two of Castlevania: Nocturne is confirmed to be under production.

Elsewhere in entertainment, Chad Stahelski has ideas for Nine John Wick films.
