Bakar Is Deep In Thought In JW Anderson's FW23 Menswear Campaign
The UK artist relaxes in vibrant knitwear and leather bottoms.

Irish designer Jonathan Anderson has caught eyes all around. His eponymous label — JW Anderson — has become synonymous with jarring design concepts that surpass innovation, recently revealing a clay-made wardrobe at London Fashion Week.
JW Anderson has enlisted English artist Bakar to front its Fall/Winter 2023 menswear campaign, seeing him get cozy in vibrant knitwear. The experimental artist dropped his sophomore album earlier this year, taking the world by storm with feel-good indie-rock tunes grounded in vulnerable lyrics.
The multi-faceted artist stands solo in JW Anderson’s seasonal designs, capturing him deep in thought on marble tables. He relaxes in fuzzy pink and green knitwear while clutching a pillow on foam boards in skintight bottoms. Finally, Bakar stands tall in a ruffled leather skirt, leaving his top half bare for all to see.
