Analogue Teases Reimagined 4K Capable Nintendo 64 Console

Analogue, the creative force behind modernized vintage gaming hardware, like its most popular product, the Pocket, has unveiled its latest venture: the Analogue 3D, a contemporary rendition of the classic Nintendo 64 console.
While little detail has been shared, the release of the new product is slated for 2024 and vows to bring the 64-bit gaming era back to life with a variety of modern features and enhancements.
From what Analogue has shared, we know that the 3D boasts “100 percent compatibility” with N64 cartridges from all regions and is most notably enhanced with 4K output capability. For gaming purists, the console will feature “Original Display Modes,” mimicking the specific screens from the era. Additionally, the device is set to include Bluetooth support and four controller ports.
While the announcement was light on specifics like pricing and the exact release date, it did tease images of what appears to be a wireless 8BitDo controller to be launched alongside the console. The Analogue 3D is particularly exciting due to the notorious challenges associated with emulating N64 games and is a testament to the company’s commitment to bridging the past with the present.
