With Netflix wrapping up the popular sci-fi series, Stranger Things, the cast is sure to receive a well-deserved pay day for being one of the most popular shows on the streamer. The show, created by the Duffer Brothers, previously announced that the fifth and final season will arrive in 2025 and that filming will likely proceed in early 2023.

According to Matthew Belloni of Puck News, Netflix has created four different tiers within the cast to negotiate the salaries of the 20 season regulars. The report indicates that Winona Ryder and David Harbour are considered to be in the top tier and are set to receive $9.5 million USD respectively as the show’s only adult actors in lead roles.

The second tier of cast members include the show’s original lead cast members in the teen roles — Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp and Finn Wolfhard, as well as Sadie Sink, are all expected to earn over $7 million USD each. As for the older teenagers played by Natalia Dyer, Maya Hawke, Charlie Heaton and Joe Keery who are in the third tier, they are expected to make around $6 million USD in the final season. It is noted that Millie Bobby Brown will be excluded from the tier system as she has an overall deal with Netflix with her Enola Holmes films and upcoming role in the Russo brothers’ The Electric State.

In other entertainment news, Avatar: The Way of Water is now the seventh highest grossing film in history.
