According to reports, Amazon Prime Video is already developing Season 2 of The Boys spin-off, Gen V. The news is particularly interesting as Season 1 of the show has yet to receive a premiere date.

The reports go on to note that the executives at the streaming platform are extremely happy with Season 1 of the anticipated superhero college spinoff series and a writing room is set to start in the coming weeks. Michele Fazekas will serve as Executive Producer and is expected to be the sole showrunner for the season.

Gen V builds on the universe of The Boys and is set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes. The school, run by Vought International, explores the usual physical, sexual, and moral boundaries, with the added element of raging “supe” hormones and competition for the school’s top ranking.

Stay tuned for the announcement of the premiere date for Season 1 of Gen V on Amazon Prime Video and news regarding Season 2.
