Vagabond Shoemakers’ AW22 Collection Highlights The "Mike", Distressed Suede and Fine Leather
Redefining the brand’s core aesthetic in a contemporary and bold direction.

Swedish footwear brand, Vagabond Shoemakers announces its Autumn Winter 2022 collection which redefines the brand’s core aesthetic in a contemporary direction. The latest silhouettes hold multiple themes, ranging from ‘70’s sophistication to ‘90’s boldness. The brand makes it a point to evolve its production by creating new styles of old renditions. The house first began as a men’s shoe brand but has since extended into female footwear.
For the men’s shoes, the designers followed a more pared-down, minimal aesthetic. The selection presents reworked classics and sporty styles with new season sneakers; offering a clean yet formal direction with honey-coloured outsoles and minimal uppers to set the tone. The spotlight of the collection is the upgraded styles of the Mike from Autumn/Winter 2021, which sees the signature loafers complemented with modern Chelsea boots and utility-inspired styles.
The women’s portion of the collection features a range of edgy footwear with a formal feel. Details such as buckles, straps, and eyelets give off clear punk vibes as well as new and updated materials – presenting the return of suede, patent leather and the new ‘distressed suede’ with its rough, worn-in look. Centered around this season’s key style Ansie, the model nods to ‘70’s silhouettes with options from tall boots to ankle length heels. New takes on Vagabond classic such as Cosmo 2.0, Brooke, and Eyra will also be introduced. The Brittie loafers capture a retro-design and are made out of cow leather. Coming in vibrant multiple colors like fuchsia, black, orange and more, the shoe provides the perfect blend of edgy and classy.
The Autumn/Winter 2022 collection has launched and is available in select stores worldwide and on vagabond.com.
