Star Wars fans are in for an eventful couple of years as a sizable list of shows are expected to premiere. In the coming months, both Star Wars: Andor and Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi are debuting. Looking closer at the animated series Tales of the Jedi, it will follow Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku in two different stories of fate, filling in some of the missing parts of their journey. Elaborating on the outline of this plot, an official trailer has been shared.

Originally having premiered during Star Wars Celebration 2022, the trailer introduces new characters such as Tano’s mother Pav-Ti and a new Inquisitor while bringing back fan favorites such as Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn and more. Voice actress Ashley Eckstein returns as Ahsoka Tano while Liam Neeson reprises his role as Qui-Gon Jinn alongside his son Micheál Richardson who will play a young Jinn. For those unfamiliar with Tano or Dooku, the show will cover Tano’s upbringing and later conflict with the Jedi Order while Dooku’s timeline focuses on his progression from being a Jedi Padawan to a Jedi Master and then turning into a Sith Lord.

Release for Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is scheduled for October 26 via Disney+ with all six of the original shorts available day one.

Elsewhere in the entertainment world, a sequel series to Blade Runner 2049 titled Blade Runner 2099 is confirmed to be on the way.
