Pusha T Reunites With Arby's to Diss McDonald's in New Track "Rib Roast"
King Push and Arby’s also drop a collaborative merch line with bolo ties, trucker hats and more.
Pusha T and Arby’s are back with a new diss track aimed at McDonald’s.
Entitled “Rib Roast,” the cut clocks in at a minute and 20 seconds and celebrates the return of Arby’s REAL Country-Style Rib Sandwich — namedropping and putting to shame the McDonald’s McRib as King Push criticizes the fast food chain competitor for serving mystery meat. At the same time, the rapper boasts of Arby’s Texas pit-smoked “country-style” pork rib, which is offered with crispy onions, melted natural cheddar cheese and smoky BBQ sauce on a toasted star top bun.
In addition to the new diss track, Pusha T and Arby’s dropped a limited-edition “country-style” merch honoring the menu item’s roots. The collection features a custom Pusha T T-shirt and jacket with Arby’s Ten Gallon Hat logo, a sandwich bolo tie, trucker hat and bandana.
“We are on a mission to call out weak sandwiches of questionable quality, and there is no other product that can compare to our REAL Country-Style Rib Sandwich or is worthy of Pusha T’s praise,” Jim Taylor, President of Arby’s, said in a statement. “We’ve spent years perfecting the intricate smoked rib flavors and are proud to have Pusha remind people why Arby’s has the meats – and smokes the competition.”

Simple as that — we both give you quality straight from the kitchen!” King Push added. “I love the work I’ve been doing with Arby’s — this time around we have to chef up something different and give everyone quality country inspired merch to go along with the rib sandwich.”
