Nike Go FlyEase Surfaces in "Sand Drift"
The Swoosh’s latest hands-free sneaker.
Following a bold pink colorway, Nike‘s Go FlyEase silhouette now returns in smooth and subtle “Sand Drift” tones. The hands-free footwear model was designed by Tobie Hatfield, allowing those with disabilities to easily put on shoes by themselves. Attracted by the distinct and intuitive design, the sneaker received viral mainstream attention, driving prices well above retail. With the release of subsequent colorways such as this one, the shoe has now become accessible as originally intended once again.
The hands-free sneaker model features a definitive black tension band, bi-stable hinge, and kickstand heel which holds the shoe open. Laceless uppers are dressed in a mosaic of waxed and perforated mesh with a nylon strap securing the heel. Rounding out the look are white “Flyease”-branded midsoles and black traction outsoles.
The Nike Go FlyEase “Sand Drift” is set to release in the coming weeks via Nike and select retailers for $120 USD.
