Nick Fury Is Back to Take on the Skrulls in 'Secret Invasion' Trailer
“I’m the last person standing between them and what they really want.”
More Marvel news has been revealed at this year’s Disney+ D23 Expo presentation. Giving fans an early look at Secret Invasion — which was announced at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con as Part of Phase 5 — the trailer gives viewers a better look at Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and his return to Earth to help fight an imminent threat from the Skrull race.
In the trailer, we get a look at some of the other cast like Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle, Olivia Colman, Ben Mendelsohn, and even shots of Emilia Clarke. The trailer builds tension as it slowly works on the level of infiltration that the shapeshifters have on the human race. Ending with a shot of Fury and his eyepatch, the teaser leaves fans with nothing but questions — a good way to keep Disney+ subscribers hooked until its premiere set to take place sometime in Spring 2023.
