Apple is gearing up for its third live event of this year, “Far Out,” on September 7.
The event, which is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET, will be held in person for select media personnel, though it will also be streaming live online globally. The live stream will be available to watch on Apple.com, Apple’s YouTube channel and the Apple TV app. A recording of the event will likely become available immediately following its conclusion.
While there is little information on what hardware Apple plans to unveil, the company is rumored to reveal its long-awaited iPhone 14 at the event, with four new models: the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. According to avid Apple leaker DuanRui, the iPhone 14 is rumored to support 30W charging in its Pro and Pro Max variants.
Additionally, Apple is rumored to announce the Apple Watch 8 and the AirPods Pro 2 during the September showcase. Notably, the latter device is rumored to be losing its stems and instead incorporating in-ear wingtips for a more form-fitting look.
As is customary for the tech giant, Apple has not confirmed any of the aforementioned product launches. Stay tuned for updates during Apple’s “Far Out” event on September 7 via the YouTube live stream embedded above.
