Following its Modelo collaboration, MIDNIGHT STUDIOS‘ MIDNIGHT ART DEPT., an expression of designer Shane Gonzales‘ love for music, film, and art, has now put together a collection around David Bowie. The tribute was developed in collaboration with the British artist’s estate and develops a street leaning range marked by nostalgic iconography.
The punchy graphics highlight the rich and eclectic history of Bowie, sharing a visual timeline of the icon’s career with hero pieces tied to his place in music history. Printed streetwear essentials offer markers of Bowie’s differing visual personas that have become synonymous with periods of music and pop culture. While Cut & Sew like the Printed V-Neck Mohair Sweater and Ziggy Knit Balaclava carry the design prowess behind MIDNIGHT STUDIOS.
Priced between $65 and $300 USD, the David Bowie x MIDNIGHT ART DEPT. collection will be available exclusively on MIDNIGHT STUDIOS’ website September 30.
