The adidas Superstar Gets Spooky
Celebrating the frightful holiday ahead.

As the days become shorter and leaves turn to orange hues, sneaker brands far and wide are preparing to kick off the new season. With the arrival of fall comes the fright-filled holiday of Halloween, in which kids around the globe dress up in costumes to hit the streets trick-or-treating.
adidas Originals is gearing up for the spooky celebration ahead with a pumpkin-encrusted Superstar release. The classic lifestyle model has been drenched in a light bone leather upper, nodding to the frightful skeletons that often haunt the occasion. Creamy shell toe caps add brightness to the offering, while the brand’s three stripes branding at the medials sees candy corn-like embroidery alongside gilded “SUPERSTAR” markings. Cartoon jack-o-lantern patches make their way on the tongues, and liners are fashioned in vibrant orange.
Black leather heel tabs complete the look, embellished with adidas’ trefoil branding set atop off-white sole units.
