The Game has responded to the claims of Wack 100, his manager, who alleged that the removal of YoungBoy Never Broke Again‘s verse on DRILLMATIC was due to the expensive feature price.

The rapper commented on an Instagram photo posted by XXL Magazine, writing, “I ain’t never paid for a verse in my life n***a… 200k for a 16 never & a day blood!!!”

Wack 100 recently claimed that YB’s verse on “O.P.P.” was removed from streaming because the Baton Rouge artist’s $150,000 USD feature fee — which is supposedly only half of what he typically charges — was too expensive. “The Game does all the rapping, I do all the business,” the music exec said in a recent Clubhouse conversation. “In YoungBoy’s defense, YoungBoy charge n***as $300,000 USD a verse. It’s what he charge. It’s what it is.”

He continued, “I can’t front, he gave us a hell of a deal, but that situation would have cut into marketing overall. So I had to make an executive decision whether I wanted to pay the tab he sent me, which was a respectable, great tab. It was love, I can’t front, but that tab would have cut into that, that and that.”

In addition to the removal of YB’s verse, “World Tours” featuring Nipsey Hussle was also taken down after the late artist’s brother Blacc Sam requested for it.

Elsewhere in music, Offset, Nicki Minaj and Mura Masa lead the week’s Best New Tracks.
