Maison Margiela and Reebok Present the Zig CR
The new slip-on debuts in three colorways.

While Reebok boasts a broad collaborative catalog of artists, designers and brands, its partnership with Maison Margiela has certainly stood out in recent years. Whether it be reimagining classics with a Margiela touch or transforming them into something new such as the various Instapump Fury variants, the duo has a diverse history. Expanding on this, the Zig CR is the latest project from the ongoing collaboration. Quietly debuting via Machine-A as a new collaborative croafer, the shoe has now officially launched courtesy of Maison Margiela.
Three colorways hit the Maison Margiela x Reebok Zig CR, beginning with a “Triple White” that is contrasted by a “Triple Black” that is then converted into a graphic tricolor in the “Black/Red” colorway. The laceless slip-on draws from vulcanized sport shoes, sandals and loafers from the 19th century, fitting Maison Margiela’s Spring/Summer 2022 Co-Ed collection theme. Key detailing includes an EVA-infused sole with TPU inserts, durable TPU upper with a rubberized leather toe guard and Margiela’s classic technique of decortiqué, the practice of reducing an object to its core structure through cutting.
Look for the Maison Margiela x Reebok Zig CR in all three colorways to be available now via Maison Margiela and select retailers worldwide at a price of $990 USD.
