Vans continues to expand its collaborative catalog each year as new designers, brands and retailers are offered the opportunity to bring something new to the table. In recent history, this has involved the likes of Bianca Chandôn, Salehe Bembury and One Block Down. Now, New York City based Labor Skate Shop has connected with Vans to present the Skate Half Cab “Croc Green.”

Labor Skate Shop’s take on the Vans Skate Half Cab begins with a black faux crocodile leather base which is visible at the midfoot and heel. The color continues at the DURACAP sole unit and tongue which features Vans Skate Half Cab branding, matching the lateral branding as well. Two black stitched tags hang from just below the lateral collar reading “LABOR” and at the heel in Vans’ iconic checkerboard pattern. Lastly, a green suede outfits the various overlays while a thematic “Green Croc” sockliner combines with a green outsole to complete this collaborative look.

Release for the Labor Skate Shop x Vans Skate Half Cab “Croc Green” was originally scheduled for August 18 at a price of $90 USD via Labor Skate Shop. However, due to shipping delays the release has been postponed for an estimated “couple days.” For more information, check out Labor Skate Shop’s Instagram post below and stay tuned for a firm release date.
