Following the success of the Polestar O₂, the Swedish automotive brand has announced that its all-electric roadster will be entering production as the Polestar 6.

Expected to launch in 2026, the Polestar 6 will join the lineup as an expanded and remodeled take on the forthcoming Polestar Precept, also known as the Polestar 5.

While the Polestar 6 will feature some of the same technology as its predecessor with 884 horsepower and a top speed of 155 miles per hour (249 kph). Thanks to its dual motor, Polestar 6 can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles (97 km) in just 3.1 seconds.

The car’s sleek design, meanwhile, converges art and technology, featuring a removable roof and custom-designed alloy wheels. While available in multiple colors, the flagship model showcases a unique “Sky” exterior paint job to complement its light gray leather interior.

Polestar has shared that it will be building 500 Polestar 6 “LA Concept” editions, making the model highly exclusive. Pre-orders for the vehicle begin today with an indicative price of $200,000 USD.
