Universal Works and tokyobike Reunite to "Make Nice Things"
Including a special-edition bike and accompanying capsule.

U.K.-based label Universal Works has presented its second collaboration with tokyobike, arriving under the two brands’ “Make Nice Things” banner. The collaboration encompasses a co-branded bike, as well as an accompanying collection of apparel to wear for the ride.
The collaborative bike is a tokyobike Mini Velo with a 20-inch real, which arrives in “English Mustard” and is finished with a range of additions for transporting items. This includes an optional cargo rack and mudguards to guarantee a smooth ride.
Alongside the Mini Velo, Universal Works and tokyobike have crafted a Mechanics Jacket, T-shirt and cap, building on their inaugural jacket release. The new jacket arrives without webbing or tool pockets, while the tee and cap sport dual branding and a sunshine yellow “Make Nice Things” logo.
Launching the collaboration, Yu, brand manager at tokyobike London, said:
“Make Nice Things might sound simplistic but it speaks of the genuine ambition to create honest, well-designed products that will stand the test of time. The concept for Universal Works really resonates with us, particularly in terms of their attitude to design. Whilst a lot of thought and consideration goes into the design of our bikes, its as much about what we can take away, so they are never ‘over-designed,’”
Universal Works latest collaboration with tokyobike is available now from the Universal Works web store.
