Tudor Celebrates the 70th Anniversay of the British North Greenland Expedition With a Brand New Ranger
A stripped-down, essential tool watch for your everyday loadout.

In celebration of the British North Greenland Expedition’s 70th anniversary, Swiss watchmaker Tudor has now reintroduced one of its most beloved vintage models: the classic Ranger.
Of course, more than just a reissue, the company has given the Ranger a complete modernization, including its wrist-friendly 39mm stainless steel case. The bezel-less design is retained with a deep black dial paired with contrasting cream white indices and numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock for a truly vintage look while keeping things highly legible, as a tool watch should be. Running the watch is an in-house Manufacture Calibre MT5402, an automatic movement with a power reserve of a trusty 70 hours. Completing the look is either a stainless steel bracelet, a green striped fabric strap, or a hybrid rubber and leather strap in black with white stitching.
Priced at a more accessible $2,725 USD on strap or $3,050 USD on the steel bracelet, the new Tudor Ranger is now available.
Elsewhere in watches, TAG Heuer has unveiled its new limited-edition Monaco model sporting a brilliant purple dial.
