The Nike Air Max line has operated as a staple in Nike’s footwear offerings year after year. Between introducing new silhouettes such as the Air Max Scorpion and revisiting fan favorites like the Air Max 1, the Swoosh continues to push the line forward. Now, a “Fish Scale” colorway of the Air Max 95 is on the way. A classic in Air Max history, the Air Max 95 has steadily received new looks and for 2022 this has remained the case.

This time around, the Air Max 95 utilizes its layered upper to create a monochromatic look that includes several shades of gray and black. An assortment of materials range from leather to suede to mesh, outfitting the upper with close attention to detail. Connecting to the “Fish Scale” theme, the heel utilizes a scaled pattern while red accents land on branding elements as well as the Air unit. The Swooshes and lacing system come with 3M reflectivity to complete the look.

Nike has yet to share a release date for the Air Max 95 “Fish Scale.” However, it is expected to hit shelves later this year via the Swoosh and select retailers at a price of $180 USD.

Elsewhere in the footwear world, the Nike Air Max 97 Terrascape is coming in a “Magic Ember” colorway.
