Following the release of Li-Ning and Dwayne Wade’s 10th anniversary edition of the Way of Wade sneaker, the Chinese sports label is now presenting its latest collection for Summer 2022.

The use of vibrant colors throughout the collection is Li-Ning’s way of blurring the lines between the great outdoors and ’90s rave culture. By introducing a collection of oversized and unisex silhouettes, the use of utility pockets with bright color palettes makes the garments accessible for outdoor excursions and on the dance floor. Li-Ning also welcomes a selection of revitalized progressive technical fabrics — such as the wet-dry, reversible outerwear — that keep wearers covered against unpredictable weather.

Collection highlights include the durable, straight-leg, Y2K-esque workwear denim, as well as the lightweight, silk shirts with acid-like detailing throughout. Technical windbreaker jackets are also included, featuring contrast panel coloring that welcomes hues of blue, pink, brown, and navy.

Li-Ning also presents footwear this season, with the restrained color palettes introducing bright green, yellow, and orange designs. Stand-out shoes this season include motocross-styled sneakers that merge colors of green, navy blue, white, and orange. The chunky silhouette includes a thick rubber sole, as well as utility laces that can be tightened for a snug fit. A white hoop has been included atop the laces, bringing everything together as the white wave design rides across the lateral mid-panel. Other footwear includes the low-riding orange sneakers with bright green laces with a thick velcro strap that sits above. Rounding off the footwear, a white, beach-ready sneaker has been introduced that features holes across the silhouette, designed to let air run past the foot during long adventures in the sand.

You can have a closer look at the Summer 2022 collection from Li-Ning above and it will be available on the official Li-Ning website in the coming weeks.
