Following the release of its desert-inspired Trek Taiyo last year, British footwear label Clarks Originals is now offering a new iteration of the shoe in an “Off White Camo” colorway.

When first meeting the eye, the Trek Taiyo has a similar appearance to Nike’s Sock Dart with a thick strap sitting atop the upper. However, this latest shoe takes inspiration from Clarks’ OG Desert Trek Chukka boot as it features a natural crepe sole to create a clean silhouette with comfortability at the forefront of the design. The rest of the Trek Taiyo is crafted in a camouflage print in “Off White” suede, while the riptape strap is used to adjust tightness across the top of the foot.

Rounding off the design, a textile lining has been used that runs above the sole and through the paneling details that cover the lateral mid-panel, heel, and toe cap sections. A soft midsole is also used along with a cream hoop on the heel to improve slip-on access.

You can have a closer look at Clarks Originals’ Trek Taiyo “Off White Camo” above and it is available now on the official Clarks website for £130 (approx. $160 USD).
