VERDY and NIGO Design a HUMAN MADE Varsity Jacket for Tenshin Nasukawa
Marking the young fighter’s “The Match” kickboxing megafight with Takeru Segawa.
To mark his highly-anticipated kickboxing megafight with Takeru Segawa, VERDY and NIGO designed a special HUMAN MADE varsity jacket for Tenshin Nasukawa. With Nasukawa emerging victorious (unanimous) at “The Match 2022” held by K-1, Rise and RIZIN in Japan’s Tokyo Dome, the jacket builds on the “Team Tenshin” merch released by the fighter ahead of the fight.
The special HUMAN MADE varsity jacket features the triceratops graphic holding a heart desgined by VERDY along with various Team Tenshin logos. Aside from the decorative chenille patches and embroidery, the outwear style is also marked with Cygames’ logo, the Japanese video game developer which sponsors Nasukawa.
Aside from simply marking the bout against Takeru Segawa, the jacket marks Tenshin Nasukawa’s official retirement from kickboxing (undefeated, 44 wins) as he transitions in boxing.
