Following up on the duo’s debut collection in 2020, Japanese graphic artist VERDY and the Minions from Universal Pictures‘ Despicable Me series reconnect for a second capsule. The upcoming collaboration sees the return of VERDY’s signature VICK character alongside tiny yellow henchmen, which are printed on a pair of skateboards, hoodies, caps, pins, stickers, and keychains.
Bright yellow long-sleeve tees celebrate the release of the new Minions: The Rise of Gru movie with Illumination and special Wasted Youth logos printed on the left chest, meanwhile, black blouson jackets and teal blue tees feature similar branding accents with custom artwork of VERDY’s tulip can motif — found in the artist’s recent Budweiser collaboration — populated with a team of playful Minions.

With fans asking for more, we’re thrilled to collaborate with Verdy on a new capsule inspired by Minions: The Rise of Gru and have strategically partnered with our Universal Studios Theme Parks in Hollywood and Osaka, Japan, to exclusively launch the collection—super-serving fans with early access to these coveted limited-edition drops.”
The second VERDY x Minions collection will be available at Universal Studios Hollywood on June 17, Universal Studios Japan on June 24, and this dedicated site on July 1.
