TABLEAU and Post Service's “CONFESSIONS”: A Spotlight on Men's Mental Health
Bringing mental health conversations to the forefront of society.
CONFESSIONS, presented by TABLEAU and Post Service, is an exploration of men’s mental health and the influence that art and design can have on the mind. Hosted during Salone del Mobile in Milan and 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, this exhibition urges male artists along with wider audiences to look inward and take note of what they find.
TABLEAU and Post Service invited fourteen male artists and groups to use their state of mental being as a driving force in their work. Their individual, unique processes were then each interpreted as a sound piece by sound designer Cedric Elisabeth.
The exhibit encompasses each male subject’s position on mental health, aiming to bring this conversation to the forefront of society. Instead of treating men’s mental health as inferior, TABLEAU and Post Service want to place a spotlight on the need for increased men’s mental health services.
This is the beginning of an important contemporary conversation, and you can join in on it by viewing the presentation from June 5-12 at Alcova Salone, and again from June 15-17 at 3daysofdesign.
