Daniel Arsham's "Objects IV Life" Brand Launches its Debut Collection
“Uniforms for a Creative Life.”

Continuing his prolific run in 2022, which most recently featured a Divided Layers installation with Kohler and eroded helmet sculpture for Lewis Hamilton, American artist and sculptor Daniel Arsham now officially launches his new Objects IV Life apparel line looking to provide “uniforms for a creative life.” For its debut Chapter 001 collection, Arsham sets the stage with an all-rounded series of basics, outwear, footwear and accessories clad in deadstock and sustainable materials, custom metal alloy trim and special patina washes.
“Objects IV Life comprises foundation pieces intending to build a wardrobe of uniforms for a creative way of life. Designed between New York City and London, all garments are made in Portugal and Los Angeles with custom hardware coming from Italy,” wrote Arsham in a post. “As I have been developing this first chapter I have started to understand this clothing in the same way I think about sculpture. It is much like alchemy.”
Defining elements across the pieces include new signature metal alloy dungaree clip closures, Object logos alluding to Arsham’s crystal corrosion art pieces, and signature “thought bubble” motifs. Arriving in both monochrome and soft muted colors are a range of moleskin hoodies, hyper-functional shirt jackets, vintage-inspired straight denim bottoms with integrated hardware, thermal plain undershirts, and workwear blazers that serve as an artisan’s shop coat elevated for the 21st century.
Additional highlights include four-pocket French workwear jackets and wide-leg jeans in patina green and blue consisting of deadstock cotton woven in Japan. Rounding out the assortment are cotton canvas tote bags, cut-out logo keychains developed to patina over time, and workwear boots featuring linen canvas uppers, engraved raw metal toecaps, and natural rubber soles.
Objects IV Life Chapter 001 is now available on the brand’s website.
