Trilobe A Crazy Day Opens Up The French Brand's X-Centric3 Display
The $22,600 USD watch is driven by a micro rotor automatic movement.

French watchmaker Trilobe has elevated its concentric ring concept to new heights with its latest piece, Une Folle Journée or A Crazy Day.
The design uses offset ‘floating’ rotating rings for hours, minutes and seconds suspended above the baseplate using nine pillars set at different levels to create a tiered display that the brand calls X-Centric3. The arrangement is set underneath the 40.5mm grade 5 titanium watch’s vast domed sapphire crystal.
The crystal, which at 10.2mm stands taller than many complete watches, is manufactured in Japan using “flame fusion” before being smoothed and polished in Switzerland.
Trilobe has left the rest of the dial open for the first time, creating a skeletonized effect and revealing the elements of the Swiss-made automatic micro-rotor calibre driving the rings with its Anthradec grained and diamond beveled bridges.
Une Folle Journée is available with its X-Centric3 rings in either black or blue via Trilobe, priced Euro 21,500 (approximately $22,600 USD).
Elsewhere in watches, F.P. Journe alumnus reveals his first solo watch.
