Travis Barker Offers a Tour of His Zen Calabasas Home
A surprisingly serene residence for his growing family.
Following an episode with Phoenix Sun star Devin Booker, Architectural Digest is welcomed into the home of Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, for its latest Open Door series installment. Inviting his guests in dressed in a full leather jumpsuit and sterling silver accessories, guests are immediately greeted with a view that stretches through the living room archways to the backyard pool.
As Barker leads AD through the house, the aesthetic feels noticeably restrained, considering Barker’s reputation as a punk rockstar. Barker explains that the minimalist aesthetic helps clear his mind and offers a tranquil place to rest after long travels. “I’ve had homes with lots of flashy cars, murals, and bikes hanging from the ceiling. But with three children of my own, plus Kourtney’s kids, this place felt right for this moment in my life,” Barker commented. It wasn’t always like this, however, with Barker revealing that his kids used to ride dirt bikes through the hallways before the home was remodeled by architect Waldo Fernandez.
Take a look at the full episode above as Barker runs through his various living spaces which include his garage, studio, game room, theater, and more.
