Following its initial reveal alongside sacai’s Pre-Fall Women’s and Fall/Winter 2022 Men’s collections, we now get another look at the highly-anticipated sacai x Nike Cortez. Releasing as part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations for the Cortez, Chitose Abe‘s sacai opts to maintain the color blocking found on Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman‘s original design from 1972 while introducing its signature double-stacked design elements.

The upcoming pairs arrive in a mix of white, gray, red, and blue across leather and suede uppers. sacai’s emblematic stacked designs are featured across the side Swooshes, heel counter overlays, tongue tabs, and collars while a raised sail-white midsole offers two distinct elements — exposed Zoom Air bubbles on the forefoot and protruding rubber pieces on the heel.

Take another look at the sacai x Nike Cortez above and expect the pairs to arrive later this year.
