Nike has made it a point to give its beloved Air Max 1 quite the eventful year thus far as it was the center of attention for this year’s Air Max Day celebrations, was reworked in festival-inspired fashion by Concepts and is set to release shortly in collaborative form alongside Travis Scott. And to beef up its catalog even further this year, the Swoosh has added another entry to its Spring lineup: the Nike Air Max 1 “Light Madder Root.”

This newest offering comes outfitted with a collection of Spring-inspired hues. It’s titular tone leads its overall design here and splashes onto the mesh toe boxes, collars and shoelaces, and comes neighbored by mid-foot panels that are splashed in a bright blue. Mudguards and rear end overlays are formed with a smooth suede build and arrive dyed with a dusty red skin. From there, “Vivid Green” hits are found atop the lateral and medial Swooshes as well as the Nike branding that is printed on the tongues and exposed Air units in the sole piece.

If you’re thinking of adding these to your rotation, then mark your calendars for a May 19 release. The MSRP is set at $150 USD.

Elsewhere in the world of kicks, a “White Panda” Dunk High makeup has been unveiled.
